this weekend, i had the opportunity to introduce a friend to two of my favorite artists, frank auerbach (painted above) and lucien freud (etched below). i'm not one of those people who walks around museums talking about the artwork but i surprised myself with how much i had to say about both of these painters. besides the fact that they are awesome, they also happen to be friends and portrait partiers!

Lucien freud also did the painting. that painting is nothing like the work of frank aurbach.
My bad, i read the discription wrong, i thought you said the painting was by frank auerbach, sorry lol, i read it quickly!
